副策展人

Regan Shrumm

Accessibility Coordinator

Regan Shrumm is a queer, genderqueer, and disabled curator, educator, and arts administrator. They live on the unceded and traditional territory of the Lekwungen-speaking peoples and the WSANEC Nation. They have worked at such institutions as the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria, the Museum of Northwest Arts, and the National Museum of American History. Their programming focuses on building and deepening communities through creating arts that are as accessible as possible for everyone.

Minah Lee

Associate Curator

Minah Lee is an interdisciplinary producer and curator, multimedia-performance artist, and visual artist. Minah’s collaboration with Cinevolution began as an artist for the organization’s site-specific multimedia festival in 2016. Her collaborative artworks were also part of Digital Carnival 2016 and 2017. During her Master’s studies, she had a pivotal opportunity to work with Cinevolution’s curatorial team to host various feature films capturing urgent global issues of displacement. She has been an Associate Curator for Cinevolution’s DocuAsia Forum since 2017 and was a Curatorial Assistant for Digital Carnival 2018 and 2019. She is honoured to continue working as a curator and producer for interdisciplinary arts with a dedicated team on unceded and traditional Coast Salish Territories. 

Minah’s creative and curatorial passion is to explore notions and circumstances of home, migration, borders, and transformation. In recent years, she has been focusing on creative practices of resistance in the age of climate crisis and digital surveillance.

Tyler Russell

Treasurer

Tyler Russell is an arts worker driven by an interest in creating spaces for difference and dialogue. With experience working for large-scale contemporary art exhibitions in Asia, from 2014 to 2018 he was Executive Director/Curator of Centre A: Vancouver International Centre for Contemporary Asian Art. There, among other initiatives, he facilitated programming that linked Vancouver’s Chinatown and Hong Kong activism and connected Indigenous arts and activism from Unist’ot’en to Taiwan. With Cinevolution beginning in 2011, he has co-presented artists in the Your Kontinent Festival, co-hosted DocuAsia events and worked as a Digital Carnival post-festival clean-up volunteer.

Jian Ping Su

Production Manager

Jian Ping Su is a cinematographer, director, producer and editor who has worked on TV series, commercials and short documentary videos for television, film festivals, and the City of Richmond’s website. Su works at Shaw TV Vancouver as a videographer and SMC stories producer where he creates a variety of stories about people from local communities. Su’s latest production is a TV series called Hip Hop with Travis Lim, where he is the Cinematographer and Chief Editor.
